3 Responses I Get When I Tell Patients to Make 90% of Their Meals Steak and Eggs

If you ask 10 different doctors what the best diet is, you’ll probably get 11 different answers.

When I tell patients to make 90% of their meals steak and eggs, I get three responses…

#1. I Can’t Afford That…

Yeah, I get it.

Steak is expensive. But not all steak is filet mignon. You can find deals if you know where to look.

I promise you it’s cheaper than the Ozempic shot.

#2. Won’t My Heart Explode?

This is a good question and one I was concerned about as well.

Turns out most of the “studies” linking heart disease and saturated fat weren’t the best science. Some may have even been bought off by the sugar industry. I’m not saying cholesterol isn’t important, but what’s more important is keeping your blood vessels healthy.

And wouldn’t it be strange for red meat to benefit every single organ and system in your body except the heart?

#3. I Like Carbs

Yeah, me too!

That’s why I try and follow my Straight Nine plan. I make 9/10 of my meals Meat, Eggs, Fruit, Rice, Cheese, Yogurt, Milk, Coffee, and Whey protein. Then I eat whatever I want for the 10th meal. Rinse and repeat.

That’s how I have my cake and eat it too.

p.s.

Talk to your doctor about the best plan for you
