Thank you for this video! I think it is a response to a kind call that you fielded on Feb 23rd for about 10 minutes, to me, so I could ask you, a person with *extensive* experience using buprenorphine (active ingredient in suboxone / subutex) asking why buprenorphine has such profound anti-depression / anti-anxiety effects on me. Even at low dosages (4mg, 2mg.. 1mg a bit less so) it brings such a profound calm to my mind and I wanted to understand why. I’m not a recovering addict of any kind, just a person struggling with .. well.. their own brain, I guess you’d say. I do have a therapist, I do practice CBT, but.. man, this med is more effective than almost anything I’ve been prescribed to date. I wanted to understand why.
p.s. I did donate $50 to St. Judes and I have the receipt.. appreciate all your hard work and solid info you’re putting out there!
Thanks. I hope the video was helpful but the links may be even more helpful. I may put out another video on this topic soon. Much luck to you!
Very helpful and inspiring.I am 53 and a retired RN. I take care of my grand daughter and aging mother.I have been addicted to hydrocodone for years. It’s been a silent addiction.I just recently decided I was killing my body and mind and switched to buprenorphine and counseling.I’ve read through several of your posts and just wanted to comment on how educational and inspiring your posts are!!😊
Thank you! And congratulations on making a difficult decision but one that I think will be worth it. Good luck.
