SUBOXONE AND SURGERY: What Should You Do?

Here’s a common scenario:

You’re clean from pain pills. You’re stable on Suboxone. And now you need surgery.

Should you taper off Suboxone? Should you stop it cold turkey? Or should you just continue taking it?

Google it for the most up to date protocols, but in my opinion…in most cases…You should probably just keep taking your Suboxone.

This obviously will differ depending on the patient and the surgery and the recovery process.
