The Wisdom of Sirach is an ancient wisdom book in the Old Testament.
It was written somewhere around 200 BC by Jesus Ben Sirach and then later translated by his grandson into Greek.
For reasons that I won’t discuss here, it was removed from the Bible by protestant reformers. How sad!
It’s a wisdom book, which means it wants to teach us some things.
Simple stuff like….
How to live a better life.
Well, who can argue with that?
Today, I wanted to give you 5 verses that I know can make a difference in your life.
So here goes…
5 Verses from the Wisdom of Sirach Guaranteed to Make Your Day Better
1) Self discipline
My son, while you are still living, test your soul, And see what is bad for it, and do not give in to that.

2) Be grateful for everything God has given you.
The Lord gave me a tongue as my reward, And I will praise Him with it.
